Related to the previous post (aka FedBlog), I discovered that the army has a VERY in-depth Infantry Forum, which is very interesting. Seems like an Infantry Blog wold nicely supplement this effort.

VERY cool. But man, they gotta make a stow-away keyboard (or adapter) for my phone before I get TOO excited about it...

And hey, why didn't WE think of that word... moblogging? Isn't that part of why we're here?

But I wonder... is it MOB-logging? Or MO-blogging? Or Ma-blogging?

From a CNET article about the 10th anniversary of the web browser...

Future: Is there life after the browser?
Technologies ranging from instant messaging to blogging raise questions about the software's relevancy in years to come.

By the way, if you used Netscape 1.0 when it was the latest browser out there, raise your hand.
(my hand is already raised)

If you also use Netscape 7.0 currently raise your other hand.
(both my hands are raised... no more questions, I'm outta hands)
Blogolicious. Blogorrific even.

Personally, I'd rather go to a blogologist than, say, a proctologist....

Can we be called blogologists?

We should start a seminar at a local Vo-Tech called Blogology, where we teach non-technophiles about blogging.
Dude, pick up the phone and call hollywood. Here's where we make our million (afghanis).

To go along with:

Meet Joe Black
Joe Versus the Volcano
Joe Dirt
Mighty Joe Young
Joe's Apartment
GI Joe
and that Joe from the NFL comercials

Joe Blog... would make at least a good reality series, eh?
As someone who sees the potential, I think we need a FedBlog or MilBlog or GovBlog site that we can leverage. Since we can't access blogspot.com from work and all. But many IPTs and the like could tremendously benefit from such a service. Just think, www.blogger.mil/nameyouript. How cool would that be?

Dude, that list reads like Bubba's list of shrimp preparation... just need a blog-kabob.

New catch phrase...
"Blog... chicken of the internet"

Wednesday, April 02, 2003

I've come to notice recently that all people seem to talk about lately is blogging. Blog blog blog blog eggs and blog. So I thought, hey, let's blog about that.

I mean, I think I've noticed AT LEAST four web articles about blogging in the last few days alone, and that's without looking for them. And then last night on CNN I watched two old people discuss the psychology of blogging. Heck, my grandfather has a cable modem and a CD burner (two things I never thought I'd say), so maybe next week he'll have a blog.

SPEAKING of having a blog, I was noticing how the word BLOG can be used in place of many common words and phrases. Such as, Blog You! Or, have a bloggy day. Or, what the blog was that? The difference is... you can say it and MEAN it. For example, if someone cuts you off in traffic and you say "Blog You!", you can blog about it when you get home (unless you're using the even better option of AudioBlog), perhaps even adding the person's license plate number to your blog (for future reference).
